Abstract: Ethylene oxide¬∑ undergoes polymerization during storage. The extent of polymerization has been studied by determining non-volatile residue (NVR) periodically. The additions of antioxidants retard its polymerization and it is supported by NVR data as well as performance evaluation test as compared to the virgin ethylene oxide.
