Abstract: Potassium chromate has been found to be an effective corrosion inhibitor for mild steel in aqueous solution of mixture of sodium chloride and sodium sulphate under various experimental conditions. The inhibitor appears to function through general adsorption following Langmuir adsorption isotherm.
