Abstract: Jodhpur crude is the first heavy crude struck in India. The composition of heavy oils from this crude has been investigated by using a combination of separation and spectrometric techniques. The compositional and structural data is compared with the similar data on corresponding high boiling fractions from Bombay High crude.
