| Abstract: | In the present paper, a simple and convenient method has been developed for the milligram determination of some
diuretics, e.g. acetazole amide, spironolactone, frusimide, hydrochlorothiazide, indapamide hemihydrate and mannitol
in pure form and in their pharmaceutical preparations with the use of pyridinium fluorochromate (PFC) in acidic
medium. The value of percentage error, SD and CV prove the method to be precise and reproducible. |
