Abstract: A series of aryloxyacetic acid 3a-h has been synthesized in one pot under microwave irradiation and phase transfer catalysis conditions. By the optimization of the reaction condition, a rapid, high-yield and efficient method for the preparation of aryloxyacetic acid is reported.
