Abstract: The tribal people of Himachal Pradesh living close to forests and facing unfavourable climatic conditions have rich traditional knowledge, which was documented and tested on scientific scale and mostly recommended for further research. Traditional practices followed by the Gaddi tribes in Kangra district of Himachal Pradesh to cure pinworm and diarrohoeal problems among infants have been discussed.
