| Abstract: | A new method for evaluating weavability of heterogeneous core-spun dref yarns has been suggested. Among core-spun dref yarns, the weaving performance of cotton core dref yarn is found to be superior followed by that of dref yarns with textured core, Z-twist core and S-twist core. Under identical conditions, sizing causes deterioration in weaving performance of dref yarns, except in case of 100% cotton dref yarn. |
