Abstract: Creep rupture life experiments have been carried out on a 2.25Cr-lMo welded boiler tube steel in the temperature range of 550-700°C. Based on the results, a temperature compensated time parameter has been proposed the long time creep life prediction of this material under internal steam pressure when used as a boiler tube.
