Abstract: The behaviour of a developing boundary liiyer in a gravity-driven film flow along an inclined wall, is examined. The non-linear boundary layer equations are solved by following the momentum integral technique to determine the film-thickness and the free-stream velocity at the onset of the fully developed flow. It is found that the film-thickness at the entrance length increases with the interaction parametera nd decreasesw ith the angleo finclination of the wall.
