Abstract: | Results showed that 2.5%granulated phosphorus furnace slag (GPFS) mixed with the raw mix in the black meal process of cement manufacture in the vertical shaft kiln (VSK) technology, improved the quality of clinker. GPFS also acted as a blending component with portland cement clinker and when used in appropriate amounts, give comparable compressive strengths at later ages of hydration. |
