Issue Date: Feb-2009
Publisher: CSIR
Abstract: Fluorogypsum, a waste product of hydrofluoric acid industry, has been blended with Ca(OH)2 and chemical additives followed by fine grinding to give plaster/binder of low consistency, high compressive strength and low water absorption. Addition of lime sludge waste (15-20%) makes suitable binder for building bricks and plastering works.
