Abstract: The comprehensive study of some of the decay properties of ground state light vector mesons within the framework of non relativistic potential model has been made in the present paper. Some of the decay properties and radiative decay widths of light vector mesons are calculated using spectroscopic parameters. The E1 and M1 transition widths have been studied both in case of non-relativistic and relativistic phase spaces. A good agreement between the calculated and experimental data is obtained in case of relativistic phase space calculations.
