Authors: Subbaiah, R
Issue Date: Mar-1984

Abstract: An annotated bibliography of Eighty years of grape research in India published by the author in collaboration with a senior pomologist, is used here as a source for this bibliometric study. Data analysis by subject, source, and authorship reveals useful findings. Subject analysis reveals clustering of research in specific subject areas, indicating gaps. Source analysis reveals that journals are the main source of information. Authorship analysis reveals that collaborative research is more predominant in recent years. Indicates that the findings may be utilized by pomologists while designing their experiments and research projects.
