|Abstract:||This paper is an attempt to explore the relationship shared by library professionals with their users. Some popular models were studied to understand the basics of building long term relationship. Issues regarding continuing librarian-client relationship are discussed along with the measures to be adopted by the libraries to gain the loyalty of their users. Indian library scenario is discussed in the light of changing needs of their users.|
