Abstract: Studies the role of the faculty in promoting library use by the post graduate students. Two independent samples of post graduate students have been taken, one each, from Haryana Agricultural University, Hisar, and Punjab Agricultural University, Ludhiana to make an in-depth study. This study identified and ranked statistically a total of nine variables which could be used to predict whether method of instruction of teachers is library based or otherwise. The stated hypothesis has been tested by the use of Spearman's Rank Correlation Coefficient in two different sample groups and their results compared.
