Title: Correlation of NMR spin lattice and dielectric relaxation times of some methyl benzenes

Abstract: The experimental values or dielectric relaxation time (τ) and NMR spin lattice relaxation on time (T1) or some methyl benzenes have been correlated with the calculated values using various equations in the literature. It is concluded that the Murty's equation is a better representation dielectric relaxation phenomenon for evaluating dielectric relaxation time (τ) as well as is a better substitute for Debye relaxation in evaluating NMR spin lattice relaxation time (T1).
