Abstract: The design and mode or operation or a cyclic voltage source have been discussed. In the present electronic circuit there is also provision for holding the potential to a certain value. Using a clock pulse, an up-down counter and a DAC the digital pulse is converted to analog voltage. A potentiostat takes care or any change in resistance in external electrode circuit. As an application the instrument has been used to fabricate conducting polymer film (polyaniline) in acidic aqueous media. The film thus formed has a resistivity of the order of 10-2 ohm.cm.
