dc.description.abstractCompositions with x ≤ 0.10 in the Ca1-xLaxSn1-x CoxO3 system form solid solution. Dielectric properties of these materials have been studied in the temperature range 300-500 K as a function of frequency from 100 Hz to 1 MHz. Dielectric constant of the composition with x = 0.01 remains almost independent of temperature up to 350 K while for the samples with x = 0.05 and 0.10, it increases continuously with temperature in the entire temperature range. This shows significant contribution of interfacial polarization to dielectric parameters of these compositions. Scanning electron microphotographs show the faceted nature of the grains.en_US
