Abstract: The vibrational Spectrum and antifungal activity of 3,4,5- trimethoxybenzaldehyde thiosemicarbazone have been reported.The thermodynamic functions have been calculated using the IR frequencies. The group sensitive fundamentals are compared with those of similar molecules already reported in the literature. The antifungal activity of the said compound has been screened against Rhizopus, Aspergillus nidulence, Aspergillus flavus, Aspergillus niger and Alternaria alternate.
