Title: Bulk modulus and Debye temperature of ternary chalcopyrite semiconductors

Abstract: A simple relation between bulk modulus, hardness, refractive index and ionicity has been developed. The estimated bulk modulus values have then been used to evaluate the values of Debye Temperature. The results have been compared with the corresponding values reported in literature. This procedure eventually allows to easily evaluate unknown bulk modulus and Debye temperature from crystal parameters like hardness, refractive index, ionicity and inter-ionic separation. The results are in excellent agreement with the available experimental data.
