| Abstract: | Attempts made so far to monitor the firing temperature of quartz, using thermoluminescence sensitization technique, have yielded mixed results. An attempt is made here to review the current status of the study and define the areas which require further experimental investigations. The implication of various processes, which may operate during the analysis, on the results have been described. |
