Title: Molecular interaction studies in the ternary mixture of cyclohexane + toluene + 2- propanol

Abstract: Ultrasonic velocilies, densities and viscosities have been measured for the ternary system of cyclohexane + toluene +2-propanol at 303,308 and 313K. From these data, acoustical parameters such as adiabatic compressibility, free length, free volme and internal pressure have been estimated using the standard relations. The results have been analysed on the basis of variations in ultrasonic velocities and free lengths. Cyclohexane-toluene complexes are observed to be broken by 2-propanol. The presence of weak interactions are noticed in the ternary system.
