Title: MHD effects on flow of viscous fluid with induced magnetic field

Abstract: The flow of a viscous incompressible electrically conducting fluid in a rotating channel with non-conducting walls in the presence of uniform transverse magnetic field applied parallel to the axis of rotation is studied taking induced magnetic field into account. An exact solution of the governing equations is obtained in closed form for the fully developed flow. The expressions for the velocity field, induced magnetic field and shear stress arc obtained. Results of the effect of rotational and magnetic parameters on primary and secondary flow have been presented. Also, the results on the effect of velocity and induced magnetic field on pressure gradient have also been presented.
