Abstract: Energy enhancement of a VLF wave propagating through a plasmapause is studied considering different plasmapause locations. It is found that a wave will get ≈ 3 dB more intensity when passing through plasmapause. The enhanced gain is L-dependent and decreases with the increase in interacting wave frequency.
