Abstract: CulnTe2 films were synthesized by graphite box annealing of In/Cu/Te stacked element al layers (SEL). The films were polycrystalline in nature and oriented preferentially in the (112) direction. The films characterized hy measuring photoluminescence in the temperature range 80-300 K indicated predominate donor-valence band transitions. The temperature dependence of photoluminescence was explained by theoretical models.
