Abstract: The conductive cotton + PANi (polyaniline) fabrics have been prepared by in situ polymerization of aniline monomer and their antimicrobial properties studied. It is observed that the fabrics have good antibacterial and antifungal properties. The antibacterial activity for gram positive bacteria reduces by 95 % while for gram negative bacteria it is 85 %.
