Abstract: Heat and mass transfer properties of 2-yarn fleece fabrics of four different compositions have been studied by related measurements, such as thermal conductivity, water vapour permeability, air permeability and wicking ability. It is observed that the raising process, used to produce typical commercially available fleece fabrics, is very effective on heat transfer properties; the effect of fibre type is rather strong on mass transfer properties of fleece fabrics.
