dc.description.abstractA simple, specific and rapid nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) spectroscopic method for the determination of mefenamic acid and paracetamol in pharmaceutical preparation is described. Samples are dissolved directly in DMSO-d6 and their spectra are recorded on a Gemini-200 MHz NMR spectrometer instrument. The results obtained by the proposed method is agreed closely with those found by the method of British Pharmacopoeia (BP). No interference due to excipients is also observed.en_US
