dc.description.abstractThe effect of various roving and drafting parameters like roving hank, roving TM, top arm pressure, spacer size and break draft on apron slippage has been studied. It is observed that both bottom apron slippage and apron-to-apron slippage change with the change in the above parameters. With the change in these parameters, when the apron slippage increases the yarn quality in general deteriorates and vice versa.en_US
