Abstract: The crystal structure of N-(3',4',5'-trimethoxybenzylidene)-3-chloro-4-fluoroaniline has been determined by X-ray methods. The compound crystallizes under monoclinic system (space group P2l/n) with cell parameters a = 7.086(4) Å b = 8.328(1) Å and c = 26.139(9) Å β= 91.29(4)°. The structure has been solved by direct methods and refined to R = 0.049 using 2144 reflections. The molecule on the whole is non-planar and the crystal structure is stabilised by Van der waals interactions.
