dc.description.abstractSix new chemical constituents, a seco-ursane-type triterpene, two sesquiterpenic esters, an alkyl δ-lactone, a cyclohexyl substituted alkanoic acid and a sesterterpenic ester have been isolated from the aerial parts of Pluchea lanceolata and their structures were established as 14,15-seco-urs-18βH-20 (30)-en-3β-yl acetate 1, 4, 8-dimethyldodeca-7Z-en-y l-9'α, 10'α-dihydroxy undecan-1'-oate 2, α-dotriaconta-29,32-olide 3. 4'α-(2"-ketobutyl cyclohexyl)-20α-eincosan-14α-ol-1-oic acid 4,5,9,13,17-tetramethyl-18-en-8α-ol nonadecanoic acid octanyl ester 5 and 3,7,11-trimethyl dodeca-10-en-yl-n-hexadecan-9'α-ol-1'-oate 6 by spectral data analyses and chemical evidences.en_US
