dc.description.abstractTreatment of urazoles with potassium permanganate leads to a simple and mild oxidation reaction, which produces triazolinediones. The reaction is conducted under solvent-free conditions and triazoline diones can be isolated in good to high yields by a simple work-up procedure. The reaction with alumina-supported permanganate enhances the rate and yield.en_US
