Abstract: | The effect of Hall current and rotation on heat transfer in MHD flow of a dusty, viscous, incompressible and electrically conducting fluid under the influence of an oscillating pressure gradient has been studied. The parallel plates of the channel are assumed to be porous and subjected to a uniform suction from above and injection from the below. A uniform magnetic field is applied in the direction normal to the planes of the plates. The plates of the channel are kept at different temperature and the temperature of one of the plate is varied periodically. The entire system rotates about an axis normal to the planes of the plates with uniform angular velocity. The governing equations are solved to yield the velocity and temperature distributions for both the fluid and dust particles phase. The effects of various parameters on the velocity and temperature profiles for both fluid and particles are shown graphically and discussed. |
