Abstract: Excess molar volumes, deviation in viscosity and isentropic compressibilities of binary mixtures formed by phenylacetonitrile with aliphatic alcohols (1-propanol, 2-propanol, 1-butanol, 2-butanol and 2-methyl-2-propanol) have been evaluated from ex-perimental measurements of density, viscosity and speed of sound at T = 308.15 K. All the properties have been fitted to the Redlich-Kister polynomial using multiparametric non-linear regression analysis to estimate the binary coefficients and standard errors. The values of these parameters have been discussed in terms of molecular interactions.
