|Abstract:||A simple method is proposed to predict the solvation free energy of electrolytes in the aqueous and non-aqueous solutions upto 623 K. The solvation free energies are calculated by a suitable combination of scaled particle theory and modified Born equation. The method is applied to a variety of solutions and at various temperatures. The temperature derivative of solvation free energy with respect to temperature offers reasonably accurate estimations of entropy and enthalpy of solvation.|
