Abstract: Three new μ-oxalato dinuclear copper(II) complexes [L(H2O)CuOxCu(H2O)L](ClO4) [L = 4-(2-aminoethyl)morpholine (aem), (1), 1-(2-aminoethyl)piperidine (ampp), (2) and 1-(2-aminoethyl)pyrrolidine (ampy), (3)] have been synthesized and characterized by X-ray single crystal analysis (1), IR, thermal analysis and magnetic measurements. Low temperature magnetic measurements of these complexes show the existence of strong anti ferromagnetic interaction between the copper(II) ions.
