dc.description.abstractThe title esters [VO(gsal)(HL1)] and [{VO(gsal)}2(H2L2)] incorporate chelation by ionized 2-hydroxybenzyl alcohol (H2L1), its dimer-like derivative (H4L2) and the salicylaldimine of glycine (H2gsal). The phenolic functions of H2L1 and H4L2 are ionized in ester formation. The structure and spectral features of the esters are reported.en_US
