|Abstract:||Fifty years ago, on 2nd July 1963, Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, Prime Minister of India dedicated the ‘Birla Planetarium’ in Calcutta to the nation. The planetarium, which was the first of its kind in India and the largest in Asia at that time, was later renamed as the M.P. Birla Planetarium.|
