Abstract: | The paper reviews scope and utility of traditional pest control knowledge for the present situation arising due to hazards and ill-effects of chemical pesticides in agriculture. From a vast collection of pest control techniques used for generations by the rural farmers, packages of ‘Traditional Pest Management' (TPM) are introduced for crops like rice, brinjal, bhendi, and tomato. |
