dc.description.abstractTetra-n-alkyl ammonium bromates were prepared for the first time by a simple procedure from the corresponding bromides and used as primary oxidants for the oxidation of alcohols to carbonyl compounds. Reaction conditions are simple and products are obtained in high yields.en_US
