Abstract: | This study reviews the use of agricultural and agro-processing industry wastes as metal adsorbents from wastewater. Modified materials displayed better adsorption capacity and capability of some was comparable with that of commercial activated carbons and synthetic resins. Agricultural wastes are low-cost adsorbents and can be viable alternatives to activated carbon for treatment of metal-contaminated wastewater |
