Abstract: The use of pulse-polarography for the analysis of SAL injection and some sulpha drugs for their active ingredient contents is described. The method is based on their oxidation/reduction at the dropping mercury electrode in dimethylformamide medium using pyridinium perchlorate as supporting electrolyte. Determination has been made by normal pulse and differential pulse polarography using linear calibration plots. The method is expected to find wide applications in the analysis of drugs of this type.
