dc.description.abstractThe sites of online newspapers in Kashmir were surveyed individually and the social media tools available on their websites were studied. It was found that vernacular online newspapers of Kashmir are more in need of evolving and existing media structures and practices. Incorporating social media in the newspapers will help to facilitate conversations across a vast geographical expanse.en_US
