Abstract: Ion selective electrodes of transition metal ions Co(II), Cu(II) and Zn(II) have been fabricated using the corresponding hydroxamate complexes. These electrodes have been systematically characterized by studying the response time, electrode response, pH range and selectivity coefficients over closely associated metals. The electrode response in non-aqueous and the stability over the medium have been studied.
