Abstract: Natural product extracts from both plants and microorganisms have been subjected to primary, secondary screening for antibacterial activity and dereplication for early identification and elimination of known compounds. Screening and dereplication results are described. There are four extracts from actinomycetes cultures which produce new compounds out of 38,000 extracts screened and passed through the process of dereplication.
