Title: Estimation of difference in heat capacities between fluid and ideal gas using equation of states

Abstract: Using five different equation of states (EOS), namely,(Patel-Teja, Peng- Robinson, Sehmidt-Wenzel, Harmens- Knapp and Cubic Chain of Rotators) which accurately express the vapor pressure and PVT properties, ΔCP the difference between heat capacities of real fluid and ideal gas has been carefully estimated. The compounds under study are a series of hydrocarbons and hydrocarbons with hetroatoms. Experimental data agrees well with Schmidt-Wenzel equation of state.
