Abstract: Standard changes of enthalpy H°) and entropy (ΔS°) of dissolving process from gas phase into supported film of DB 18C6 have been determined for some organic solutes using gas - liquid chromatographic technique (GLCT). To almost every solute, entropy effect (-TΔS°) is larger than calorific effect (-ΔH°) under the present experimental conditions. The data of calorific effects have been discussed in the light of intermolecular forces, which indicate that different solute molecules may approach to and interact with different local parts of the crown ether molecule.
