Abstract: Anyone who has done the Basic or Advance mountaineering course from the Himalayan Mountaineering Institute (HMI), Darjeeling, or for that matter anybody who has trekked up to the HMI base camp at Chowri Kang (4350 m), Sikkim would not have missed seeing the Silver Hut.
