| Abstract: | A new class of
five-membered heterocycles oxazolines and thiazolines have been prepared by
multistep, one-pot and microwave irradiation methodologies. The microwave
method provides an excellent approach for the safe, rapid, inexpensive and
simple synthesis of oxazolines and thiazolines. |
