| Abstract: | Amberlyst-15 has been exploited as an efficient recyclable heterogeneous catalyst for the facile synthesis of 2,3-dihydro-1,5-benzothiazepines in environmentally benign ionic liquids. The reaction is smooth and the products have been isolated in excellent yields. |
